Is Common Single Again?
You know, although Common did speak about Serena Williams and marriage on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Common didn’t mention Serena’s name in the context of getting married – only that he wanted to wed eventually.
Maybe that’s why a new rumor about the Just Wright star and tennis great being over is spreading so fast.
Rhymes With Snitch reports that word has it that Serena and Common have grown apart and that was why we saw Common’s mom on the red carpet for the premiere of Just Wright and not Serena.
And here’s what In Touch Weekly is saying:
After over two years of dating, tennis star Serena Williams, 28, and rapper Common, 38, have split. “They just grew apart,” said a friend of the musician’s. The duo made a last public appearance in April at the New York premiere of Date Night, but Common was acting single on the Tom Joyner Foundation Fantastic Voyage cruise while promoting the film Just Wright in mid-May. “He was a big hit with the ladies,” says a witness.
