In our weekly “Love Of The Game” series, HuffPost BlackVoices talks sports with a person of note. This week we caught up with comedienne-actress Kim Wayans, who said women should try and watch sports with their mates.

My husband’s a football fanatic, so I had to get with that program or else we would be in divorce court right about now. When somebody is so passionate and enthusiastic about something, you have two choices: You could either be the wife with her lip poked out and her arms crossed around her chest with an attitude all day; or you can get a bag of chips and get the pizza out and enjoy the game. And so that’s what I’ve chosen to do, and we have a lot of fun watching the games … I think it’s important, especially if it’s something that consumes a lot of your time, so this way your girlfriend doesn’t start to feel left out, like you got another girlfriend — football. But the flip-side of that is, that my husband is so open to doing what I want him to do. If I want to take him to a ‘girly’ thing, like a Barbara Streisand concert, a musical or something like that, he goes. And he goes happily, because he knows that I’m his football buddy, and I don’t give him grief. I watch the game and enjoy it with him, so then he in turn goes and enjoys things with me. So it’s a smart move for women to learn the game and enjoy it with their mates.

TooFab reports that it was 28-year-old White who ended the relationship. He told the website:

“She’s a good woman, it’s just one of those situations where in life people outgrow each other. I’m highly intelligent, very wise and one thing I hate is negativity and drama. I hate arguing and I value communication no matter what the problem so as in any relationship tension can build up and I finally had to walk away.”

Fox, 47, so far hasn’t commented on the split, but she tweeted on Thursday that she was doing well:

“I’m fine! At work and being very productive! God has got me! As always! ”

The transgression occurred on August 20th, in a comedy club in Phoenix, Arizona. In part of his response to his heckler, Williams launched into a tirade against Mexicans living in the United States.

“Mothaf*ckas think they can live in this country and pledge allegiance to another country… Do you remember when white people used to say go back to Africa? And we’d have to tell them we don’t want to? So if you love Mexico, bitch, get the f*ck over there!” he said.

William’s comments have provoked outrage from some of his fans on YouTube and from members of the Latino community, including prominent Mexican-American author Luis Rodriguez.

Kelis claims estranged hubby Nas has left her high and dry … not offering her a penny in the wake of her impending birth … and she says she’s broke — “I have run out of money.”

Kelis filed legal papers claiming Nas isn’t paying her support, pre-natal expenses — nothing, even though she claims he is filthy rich.

Kelis is asking the judge to order Nas to pay spousal support, child support, all pregnancy-related expenses, and one-half of all medical expenses after the child is born. She also wants $3,500 for the baby nurse after the child’s birth, and $20,000 for strollers, cribs and other baby supplies.

Kelis says, “My survival is based on [Nas'] will at this time. If he does not want to pay for an expense, it does not get paid.” The couple was married in 2003. The baby is due this month.

Kelis says she’s entitled to maintain the lifestyle to which she became accustomed during their marriage — they have five homes, fly first class, go to fancy restaurants, and on and on. Most interesting — “There were many expensive pieces [of jewelry] such as a princess-cut diamond tennis bracelet that was recently appraised for $190,000. My engagement ring is an approximately nine-carat cushion-cut diamond solitaire. I have numerous watches…such as Cartier, Rolex, Frank Muller and Chopard.”

Nas and KelisHer lawyer, disso-queen Laura Wasser, says in a separate declaration she’s asked Nas to ante up some $$$ for Kelis and the unborn baby but he hasn’t responded. So Nas is supposed to be supplying your luxury lifestyle for the rest of your life? Doesn’t sound right to us. We think she needs to worry about the baby and leave the other bullsh*t behind.

When I saw these recent photos of Stacey Dash  I was speechless. We all remember Stacey as Dionne the rich girl sidekick to Cher Horowitz in the 1995 mega hit and cult classic Clueless. This beautiful actress seems to almost be frozen in time.

She has always played charcters that were much younger than her actual age, which is 42! Yes, she is 42. From the natural look of her face and body it doesn’t appear that she’s had any plastic surgery and is aging quite gracefully.

This just proves that women over 40 are no longer limited to short soccer mom hair bobs and 90’s looking mom jeans. Way to girl girl! Enjoy the pics!
