Chris Tucker’s $6 Million Home Set To Go Into Foreclosure

In the midst of his much talked-about comeback comedy tour, comedian Chris Tucker’s $6 million 10,000-square-foot Florida estate is reportedly at risk of going into foreclosure. According to foreclosure papers obtained by the Orlando Sentinel, Tucker owes $4.4 million to the bank and has a $11.5 million IRS lien on his home to collect federal taxes owed by the actor.

The “Rush Hour” star’s lush Lake Apopka residence, which was purchased in 2007, features five bedrooms, three fireplaces, a personal spa in the master suite, an outdoor kitchen and a pirate ship-themed basement. The estate was also among eight luxury homes displayed in 2006 during a “Street of Dreams” event held at the height of the real-estate boom.

Cynthia Lurry, who helped Tucker to purchase the Florida property, was contacted by the paper but declined to comment.

In other news, Tucker’s October 16 Albany, N.Y., show at the Palace Theatre has been canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances,” according to LiveNation.

Katt Williams Apologizes For Anti-Mexican Statements

Comedian Katt Williams has released an apology for remarks he made to an audience member of Mexican descent last weekend.
“My remarks were not meant to be offensive. I want to apologize if my comedy act was taken out of context. I sincerely appreciate my fans within the Mexican community and would never intentionally go out of my way to offend them,” he said.

The transgression occurred on August 20th, in a comedy club in Phoenix, Arizona. In part of his response to his heckler, Williams launched into a tirade against Mexicans living in the United States.

“Mothaf*ckas think they can live in this country and pledge allegiance to another country… Do you remember when white people used to say go back to Africa? And we’d have to tell them we don’t want to? So if you love Mexico, bitch, get the f*ck over there!” he said.

William’s comments have provoked outrage from some of his fans on YouTube and from members of the Latino community, including prominent Mexican-American author Luis Rodriguez.

Kevin Hart’s Record-Breaking Funny Business

Let’s just say the jury is still out on Kevin Hart in my opinion. I honestly don’t even know who finds him funny far less this many people at once. Well, now that he has the money, I am sure the white girls are coming next. You know the rules, the darker the black men’s skin is, the lighter the wife or girlfriend. When the dark skinned black man has some actual money, then the wife is usually in most cases white. That is just how it goes girls..Oh well, here is the story..

Comedy is no laughing matter to comedian Kevin Hart—it pays well—and Hart, who has paid his dues on the comedy circuit for years, is finally starting to see the spotlight at the end of the tunnel.

After embarking on his 90-city Laugh at My Pain Comedy Tour (movie in theaters Sept. 9), the Philadelphia native has broken records (grossing about $15 million in ticket sales in two days, exceeding Eddie Murphy’s “Raw” tour), won the hearts of fans (as evidenced by sold-out venues nationwide), signed an exclusive deal with AMC to release his movie, launched an app (Little Jumpman) and landed big endorsements (Ford and Jordan, who hasn’t teamed with any personality since Spike Lee, remember those commercials?).

But the jokester takes it all in stride as he chats with BlackEnterprise.com about poking fun at himself, what his new wealth now affords him, and why, despite his divorce, he’ll never disrespect his ex.

Your live comedy concert film, Laugh at My Pain, is hilarious. Yet people think you’re an overnight success. How did you get your start?

My actual break came from Damon Dash and Jay-Z, who saw me perform live and told me they were working on an indie film called Paper Soldiers that they thought I’d be great for. So that was my first film and leading role where I played Shaun, a [brother] whose life is falling apart. He’s in jeopardy of losing everything and he starts robbing houses, but he was terrible at it. It was pretty funny (Laughs).

We bet! One of the things that endears you to millions is your self-deprecating humor. Is that pure comedy or a defense mechanism?

Well, I’ve always been that way and have never forced it and thought, This is how I’m going to say or do this. It’s just a natural instinct of mine. But to some degree, yes, it is a defense mechanism because, in a way, it’s disarming others before they can criticize me.

What would people be surprised to know about you?

I’m pretty much an open book. I try not to hide anything and remain front and center on purpose. That way there aren’t any surprises.

Reportedly, you’ve surpassed Eddie Murphy’s live concert record sales by grossing more than $15 million in two days. How have you digested that milestone?

Honestly, I try not to celebrate those numbers because I don’t want to get content and think, I made it. I’m successful! When you start to think that way, you think you don’t need to go any further—so I don’t address it. And Eddie and I are cool, he’s a cool dude. He told me to keep doing what I’m doing, and that I’m on the right track.

Who are you mentors?

Chris Rock has given me great advice.

How has or will money change you?

It hasn’t. If it does, it should only change you for the better. The only difference now is that I get to see things I couldn’t before because I can pay for it (Laughs). Like taking my kids on elaborate trips and have everything taken care of, or the convenience of taking a private jet back and forth now that I have access. But again, I don’t let any of this get to my head too much.

Funny clip of the day

Tamron Hall nipples show through sheer dress on live broadcast

I almost fell out of my chair while watching the wrap up of the Inauguration celebrations on David Shuster’s show on MSNBC. David was apparently shell shocked while Tamron flashed on the screen and began rambling on and on as if she may have had 1 too many Long Island Ice-Teas. I first noticed how stunningly beautiful this woman was, and how great she rocks that short hair cut of hers..then I noticed something that at first I think is a shadow or something harmless on her dress, and I realized it was her NIPPLES. Yes, from almost every angle you can see her nipples right through the brown sheer gown she was wearing. This is a common mistake that women make when wearing something that is semi-sheer. They forget that under certain bright lights you can see EVERYTHING! David Shuster and his two guest, one who was a reverend seem stunned at first, then chuckled throughout the entire LIVE segment unbeknown to poor Tamron, who seemed happy, talkative and full of energy and didn’t realize that the guys where not laughing with her but at her, while also getting some cheap sexiest thrills at Tamron’s expense.

At one point I felt relieved when I noticed someone thew up some block of text over the nipple slip and I assumed it was to prevent the further humiliation of this unknowing woman, but shortly after they took it down and continued to show her nipples with every twist and turn of her body. I can’t imagine if the camera man was to tired to notice and shoot a little higher above the nipple line, or totaly being a dick and getting his rocks off . I was pretty shocked that they didn’t cut away , but since it was 1:30 am maybe the didn’t think it would matter. At the end of the day, Tamron Hall should have chose something as beautiful as what she wore but not semi-sheer with no bra like she did tonight. She even joked at the end of her segment that this was going to be a youtube moment, boy is she right.

50 Cent MTV show gets canceled.

LOOKS like 50 Cent can’t trump Trump after all.

The rapper’s reality show, “50 Cent: The Money and the Power,” won’t be back.

After only six episodes, the series, which was shot in Brooklyn, appears to be the victim of poor ratings and lack of buzz.

Fifty’s show attempted to discover the next hip-hop mogul among 14 wannabes – ranging from an 18-year-old youth counselor, who describes himself as “grandma’s little hustler,” to a guy whose family owns six businesses and raps, “I’ve got more ladies than Fifty’s got Mercedes.”

In a lineup full of rappers-turned-reality stars – Snoop Dogg’s “Father Hood” on E!, Flavor Flav’s “Flavor of Love” on VH1, Rev Run’s “Run’s House,” Diddy’s “Making the Band” and Xhibit’s “Pimp My Ride” on MTV – it’s surprising that the hip-hop star, who survived nine gun shots in 2000, can’t beat bad ratings.

But Fifty’s failure doesn’t signal the end of the reality road for the network, which said last week it has 16 new series in the works.

“Our new shows will feature themes of affirmation and accomplishment,” says Brian Graden, MTV Networks’ vice president of entertainment.

“Our shows are going to focus less on loud and silly hooks and more on young people proving themselves.”

Gwen Ifill: Palin “Blew Me Off”

On “Meet the Press” Sunday morning, vice presidential debate moderator Gwen Ifill said Palin “more than ignored” some of her questions — she “blew me off.” She added that Palin decided to “give a stump speech” instead of a debate, and that there’s “little a moderator can do” to stop that. Watch:

In my opinion: The debate was a joke, Sarah Palin is a joke. The Republican party wanted to trump the “black guy” card with the “hot white hockey mom” card, so they picked her. She is pretty and she is white..period. They saw the Obama momentum growing out of control and they had to use any method possible to stop it. Their brilliant solution? An empty headed pretty politician who is in charge of a state that has less than 1 person per square mile. There are more moose in Alaska than people, okay?

I give it to the McCain Republicans, they have major balls. To be so obvious in their choice shows how desperate they were. They know their base, and that’s why they chose someone who has all the superficial , un-intelligent qualities that so called “white middle America” voters cherish. You know, that fake folksy, home grown, I not a intellectual but a darn good Christian, and very cute so vote for me mindset. These are the only people this strategy can work on. The same empty headed republican base who wants Creationism in schools, and who believe that global warming is just God’s natural plan and not man made are the ones who are foaming at that mouth over Palin. I still don’t get it..why such a big fuss over a Vice President? Who cares, the VP’s job is simple, break ties in the Senate! That’s it! The “base” just hated McCain so much that they had to transfer all their hope on this dim woman. I mean, damn, if your own party doesn’t like you and you have to bring in an attractive piece of ass to get votes, shouldn’t you throw in the towel? Where is McCain’s pride?

It doesn’t matter that she isn’t smart, informed, or gives any real answers to questions she is asked. She’s pretty, pro-life, anti-gay, religious, and folksy so trust me, in 20 years they will be drooling for her like they drool over Ronald Regan, another scum bag who doesn’t deserve a shred of respect , yet the Republicans treat him like Elvis. They are BLIND people, they don’t care about the issues, they just wanna win. I admit, I wish Barack Obama had more flair and was a tad bit tougher, but it’s so refreshing to see a candidate for president that is intelligent, and calm, and can answer a question backwards and forwards confidently and clearly. He may not be funny enough to be satired on SNL, but that’s what makes him unique, he’s kinda bland, all business, brilliant and has a smile that makes me personally melt. I don’t care about having a beer with the president like the so many people said back in 2000 and 2004 about Bush, it doesn’t matter to me if he is funny, or filled with one liners, I just want someone who understands his job and does it as fair as possible. So far, Obama is ahead in all the polls, so be expecting the McCain camp to start dropping some serious , and most likely false attacks on Obama any day now. Just look at the numbers and see why Obama has these sore losers shaking in their boots. History is about to be made in America, and they know it!

On the lighter side…..
Tina Fey knocked it out of the park for the 3rd time with her latest sketch appearance on SNL as Sarah Palin in the Vice Presidential Debate. Tina is on fire this year! I am so proud of her, she’s very funny and great at what she does.

Snoop Dogg is no longer hardcore.

Rapper Snoop Dogg has managed to go where no gangsta rapper has ever been before and break into Bollywood. Cordozar Calvin Broadcus Junior, who is better known across the world as Snoop Dogg, performs the title track of a new Bollywood movie called Singh is Kinng which is being released in India on Friday. Starring one of Bollywood’s top actors Akshay Kumar, it’s being dubbed as the fusing of two cultures – where the King of Bollywood meets the King of Rap.

The two are said to have got on like a house on fire and Akshay even managed to get the American rapper to don Indian clothes for the music video. The film’s producer Vipul A Shah said: “Their chemistry was worth seeing as they’re superstars from two different worlds. To say the least, the video is looking brilliant.” The song is already a hit in India and is being played regularly on radio stations and in bars. In the video, the singer who has been in and out of trouble with the police for most of his life, is seen wearing a traditional Indian kurta or long shirt, beige trousers with a turban studded with a diamond.

Indian film-maker Deepak Tijori told Sky News: “He has a very very select audience and the song is blended with a typical Bollywood song. It is a good pinch of salt but will not be the mainstay of the film.”

In other words, it’s Akshay who is drawing in the crowds in India, not necessarily the US rapper.

But that hasn’t deterred Snoop, who apparently has plans to follow up with a tour to India.

“Snoop Dogg has a lot of fans in India and I love ‘em right back,” he said.

His co-performer Akshayis effusive with his compliments: “The song is mind-blowing. I made a few friends listen to it and they haven’t stopped gushing about it.

“I am confident like the rest of the soundtrack this will go on to become a major chartbuster.”

My opinion- There isn’t anything Snoop won’t do to stay relevant. First it’s doing the opening theme for One Life to Live, Then doing a country song, now Bollywood..Let me be clear, I would normally admire this type of creativity and open mindness when it came to true artists that appreciate and promote diversity. Unfortunately, this seems to be another example of a hip-hop celeb doing anything possible to stay relevant and to make money.

10 years ago Snoop would have laughed his ass off if, Warren G decided to do something like this. But selling out to mainstream media is all the rage now with former rap heavy weights like Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent, and others because rap and hip-hop has slowly self destructed into pop music. Let’s face it, hip-hop is offically dead, there isn’t any money left to be made . There are no hardcore rappers left, get used to it. At least Eminem keeps it real, he seems to be the only rapper left who could care less about crossing over. Why can’t these guys just make great music like in the old days? Sigh…..

T-Pain’s Oscar worthy song Buy U A Drank (Shawty Snappin’) from ’07 has dazzled and amazed us all with it’s well thought out lyrics and rhythmic unique beats. Now there’s a small following of you-tubers who are putting their own special twist on this future classic. These clips are great. There are 4 videos total, the first is the original version from the “artist” himself. Someone even went through the trouble of making a SIMS version which is pretty cool. I find it ironic that even in the SIMS version of this video the girl in the video is light skinned with long hair. I guess art does imitate life. Anyway, I liked the preppy white guy one the best! Tell me what you think.

Just a few random pics of 50 Cent and Carrie Underwood hamming it up during a commercial shoot for Vitamin Water and stupid stuff. There is nothing wrong with selling your soul to big companies for a profit, everyone and their grandma has a product their pushing, I understand that now. The problem is, when you still try to pass yourself off as this real dude from the streets, it’s not convincing when your constantly partying with Paris Hilton, throwing temper tantrums if your album doesn’t outsell Kayne’s, or selling out to the highest bidder. I don’t know too many hardcore gangstas who do that, but wankstas do. Have fun.
