The Black Man Did It: White Mom’s Abduction Hoax Sparks Outrage, Resignation
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — It’s an old lie, claiming that The Black Man Did It.
But it was trotted out again last week when a white mother from suburban Philadelphia said two black men snatched her and her 9-year-old daughter from their SUV and abducted them in the trunk of a black Cadillac. Blacks across the country were outraged after Bonnie Sweeten was found in a luxury hotel at Disney World. Authorities quickly unraveled the hoax, but not before an Amber Alert, frantic searches and national news coverage that played into images of marauding black men. Racial boundaries are slowly dissolving in America, with President Barack Obama the most obvious example. Yet Sweeten’s story, plus the killing of a black New York City cop by a white officer days later, was a reminder that old ideas remain burned into many minds both black and white.
Sweeten’s story has provoked an outpouring of discussion among blacks, everywhere from doctor’s offices to blogs. Syndicated radio host Warren Ballentine said his listeners are “furious, and they’re disgusted. … On a scale of one to 10, it’s a 15.” “Their hope was that by Obama becoming president, the rest of America would take a look at black Americans and look at us for who we are and not what a stereotype is,” he said.

Tamron Hall nipples show through sheer dress on live broadcast
I almost fell out of my chair while watching the wrap up of the Inauguration celebrations on David Shuster’s show on MSNBC. David was apparently shell shocked while Tamron flashed on the screen and began rambling on and on as if she may have had 1 too many Long Island Ice-Teas. I first noticed how stunningly beautiful this woman was, and how great she rocks that short hair cut of hers..then I noticed something that at first I think is a shadow or something harmless on her dress, and I realized it was her NIPPLES. Yes, from almost every angle you can see her nipples right through the brown sheer gown she was wearing. This is a common mistake that women make when wearing something that is semi-sheer. They forget that under certain bright lights you can see EVERYTHING! David Shuster and his two guest, one who was a reverend seem stunned at first, then chuckled throughout the entire LIVE segment unbeknown to poor Tamron, who seemed happy, talkative and full of energy and didn’t realize that the guys where not laughing with her but at her, while also getting some cheap sexiest thrills at Tamron’s expense. Mississippi Paper Offers Apology for Its ‘Gross Neglect’ During Civil Rights Struggle
NEW YORK In a remarkable statement on day before the birthday holiday for Martin Luther King Jr. — and two days before the inauguration of Barack Obama — the Meridian (Miss.) Star has, in an editorial, offered an apology for its past coverage of civil rights issues.
It closed: “There was a time when this newspaper – and many others across the south — acted with gross neglect by largely ignoring the unfairness of segregated schools, buses, restaurants, washrooms, theaters and other public places.
“We did it through omission, by not recording for our readers many of the most important civil rights activities that happened in our midst, including protests and sit-ins. That was wrong. We should have loudly protested segregation and the efforts to block voter registration of black East Mississippians.
“Current management understands while we can’t go back and undo some past wrongs, we can offer our sincere apology — and promise never again to neglect our responsibility to inform you, our readers, about the human rights and dignity every individual is entitled to in America — no matter their religion, their ethnic background or the color of their skin.”
In a front page story, editor Fredie Carmichael recalled, in a moving essay, that one of the three slain civil rights workers in 1964, James Chaney, hailed from Meridian. His lengthy piece recounted the episode — and its meaning today.
The full editorial follows. It is all at:

Tomorrow, as the nation celebrates the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we also pause to remember those in East Mississippi who were integral in the American civil rights movement.

Possible cure for AIDS? Or medical fluke?
Gwen Ifill: Palin “Blew Me Off”
On “Meet the Press” Sunday morning, vice presidential debate moderator Gwen Ifill said Palin “more than ignored” some of her questions — she “blew me off.” She added that Palin decided to “give a stump speech” instead of a debate, and that there’s “little a moderator can do” to stop that. Watch:

In my opinion: The debate was a joke, Sarah Palin is a joke. The Republican party wanted to trump the “black guy” card with the “hot white hockey mom” card, so they picked her. She is pretty and she is white..period. They saw the Obama momentum growing out of control and they had to use any method possible to stop it. Their brilliant solution? An empty headed pretty politician who is in charge of a state that has less than 1 person per square mile. There are more moose in Alaska than people, okay? Continue reading

Looks like some whites are already starting to have some meltdowns over having a black president. How sad..here is the story…
