Cain: Black Voters ‘Have Been Brainwashed Into Not Being Open-Minded’ (VIDEO)
The former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza said, “I have received some of that same vitriol simply because I am running for the Republican nomination as a conservative.” He added, “So it’s just brainwashing and people not being open-minded, pure and simple.”
Despite the comments, Cain signaled he sees “good news” in the situation in that he believes one-third to 50 percent of black Americans are “open-minded.” He explained, “I meet them every day. They stop me in the airport. And so this whole notion that all black Americans are necessarily going to stay and vote Democrat and vote for Obama, that’s simply not true. More and more black Americans are thinking for themselves. And that’s a good thing.”
The remarks from Cain come on the heels of his surprise win in the Florida straw poll. It’s not the first time the GOP presidential contender has made provocative remarks on issues related to race.
Over the summer, Cain suggested Comedy Central’s Jon Stewart mocked him during an episode of “The Daily Show” because he’s a “black conservative.”
According to a Fox News poll released on Wednesday, Cain is running in third place in the race for the Republican presidential nomination. The survey shows former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney leading the GOP primary pack and Texas Governor Rick Perry running in second place.

In February’s Vanity Fair, Bissinger recalls a 1997 GQ interview that Woods gave when he was 21. The golfer, now 33, made a “series of profane quips” about women, sex and athletes that now provide “a sustained glimpse of the real Tiger Woods,” writes Bissinger, who refers to Woods as a “sex addict.”
At one point, Woods said during the tape recorded interview: “What I can’t figure out is why so many good-looking women hang around baseball and basketball. Is it because, you know, people always say that, like, black guys have big dicks?”
Bissinger notes that during a photo shoot — “where four women attended to his every need and flirted with him as he flirted back” — Woods told a joke. He rubbed the tips of his shoes together and then asked the women, “What’s this?” Woods then replied. “It’s a black guy taking off his condom.”
Woods also cracked that lesbians are “faster” at sex than gay men because women “are always going 69,” Bissinger notes.
Bissinger writes that the interview “was the only honest and open one Woods has ever given. After that the steel wall of insulation came down, spearheaded by I.M.G.,” his agency.
Joe Logan, a co-founder of a Web site called MyPhillyGolf.com, tells Vanity Fair that Woods — who has an estimated net worth of $600 million — fraudulently created an image so he could earn as much money as possible through endorsements.
“He held himself out to a higher standard he created and built and cashed in on,” he tells the magazine. “Everyone feels duped and betrayed. It’s not like some guy who got drunk and jumped in the sack with some waitress.”
The public shouldn’t be so surprised by the Tiger Woods sex scandal, says Pulitzer Prize winner Buzz Bissinger.
Many of us in the African American community have always verbalized our disgust with America’s favorite Uncle Tom, Tiger Woods. For some of us, not me, it was because he seemed to perfer white women , for most, it was because he made it clear to the world that he didn’t see himself as black and even tried to convince us that he was a special racial category ‘canabalasian‘, that was to me the real issue.
The few Uncle Tom’s who reach the level of success Tiger Woods has reached at least understand how important it is to not intentionally offend blacks, you know, the people the UT (Uncle Tom) is trying so hard not to be like.
UT’s like Quincy Jones, Ice-T, Clarence Thomas, Taye Diggs, etc usually put on a fake persona as if to say, “sure I don’t touch black women, and I have no real ties to the community but I am still real“. For many of us that’s fine because I like many black women nowadays could care less if a brotha prefers white over black. We are so used to seeing our men act like white women are the gold standard of desire to now many of us are starting to ‘get it’ and just don’t give a damn like we used to. There are plenty of fish of other races in the sea, it does go both ways.
But the grand wizard of UT’s, Tiger Woods is by far the most self hating black athlete or celebrity of our time. This man has actually convinced himself that when he looks in the mirror, that a mixed-race black man is not starring back. To make fun of your fellow black athletes for doing the same exact thing your doing but you see yourself as different because you think your in another racial category is HYSTERICAL!
Now it’s true he was only 21 when this story was written, but I say if he is a dog now, he most likely was one back then also, and this Vanity Fair article from 1996 is clear proof the Tiger Woods has some serious , MAJOR issues with his racial identity, we, the African American community weren’t just jealous when we leashed our criticism towards him, like so many white love to charge. When I read this article, I got the impression of a white guy making a insulting black joke to another fellow white person. Do you know how pathetic it is to act in such a desperate manner and crack such a joke when you yourself are black, and an athlete, and you having nothing but hot white women catering to your every need? FAKE! FAKE! FAKE!
We smelled a rat then and now the world see’s his sorry, cheating, nasty butt for what he is. I am THRILLED for his poor wife Elin, because reports are already stating that she may get $300 million for her troubles. I think she has earned every single last dime. The humiliation of this scandal will follow her and her children for years, and this is just about one of the few things that can help her ease her pain. You GO GIRL!
A White Woman Explains Why She Prefers Black Men
Black skin is thick and lush, sensuous to the touch, like satin and velvet made flesh. There’s only one patch of skin on a white man’s body that remotely compares to nearly every inch of a black man’s skin. The first time I caressed black skin, it felt like a luxury I shouldn’t be able to afford. I craved it more strongly than Carrie Bradshaw craved Manolo Blahnik shoes. That phrase, “Once you go black, you never go back” is all about the feeling of the skin. And I had the socially acceptable explanation for my craving. I used that paucity-of-available-white-partners rationale to explain my relationships with black men for several years. A white woman past forty is often passed over by her white-male contemporaries. She goes younger or ethnic or foreign-born or down the socioeconomic scale or darker or she spends lonely nights at home with her cats. Black men are happy to get the babe they couldn’t have when she was twentysomething and fertile. The laws of the marketplace do prevail. Snoop Dogg is no longer hardcore.
Rapper Snoop Dogg has managed to go where no gangsta rapper has ever been before and break into Bollywood. Cordozar Calvin Broadcus Junior, who is better known across the world as Snoop Dogg, performs the title track of a new Bollywood movie called Singh is Kinng which is being released in India on Friday. Starring one of Bollywood’s top actors Akshay Kumar, it’s being dubbed as the fusing of two cultures – where the King of Bollywood meets the King of Rap.
The two are said to have got on like a house on fire and Akshay even managed to get the American rapper to don Indian clothes for the music video. The film’s producer Vipul A Shah said: “Their chemistry was worth seeing as they’re superstars from two different worlds. To say the least, the video is looking brilliant.” The song is already a hit in India and is being played regularly on radio stations and in bars. In the video, the singer who has been in and out of trouble with the police for most of his life, is seen wearing a traditional Indian kurta or long shirt, beige trousers with a turban studded with a diamond.
Are black women still necessary?
After reading this intriguing interview I found online today, I was surprised by how little of an effect this type of sad truth has on me at this point in my life. I think this article continues to support my beliefs that black love, and black unity is just about dead. Maybe if Obama wins the presidency it will make a cultural shift in the way many in the African American community see themselves and each other and we can bring back some true pride to our culture. Vin Diesel , the most pathetic actor on Earth
What woman would lay down and create a baby with one of Hollywood’s biggest sellouts? Paloma Jimenez that’s who! It’s reported that, Vin Diesel and his girlfriend, model Paloma Jimenez, have quietly become parents of a baby girl, his rep tells PEOPLE.
Diesel, 40, and Jimenez welcomed their first child on April 2. Diesel is currently shooting and producing Fast and Furious, due out June 2009, and will next be seen starring in Babylon AD on August 29. Despite his daughter’s fall birth, the ‘Fast and the Furious’ actor and his model wife wait nearly two months to share the news.
When I use the word sellout for Vin Diesel it’s not because like usual he’s another black male who stays as far away from black women as he possibly can, even though it appears that black men have abandoned ship when it comes to black on black love, I personally see nothing wrong with dating interracially (I am also bi-racial). It’s mainly because Vin has always made it clear that since he is bi-racial he doesn’t want to be “stereotyped” with black roles. So this punk made sure in his contract with the studios that he NEVER gets casted in a role as a black man, EVER. I find this insulting and just plain sad.
