Orchard Street designer and lifestyle racist Doron Braunshtein (aka Apollo Braun) is at it again; in March he launched his “Who Killed Obama?” t-shirt and now he’s added a new political statement to his line: the $250 “Jews Against Obama” t-shirt.
And that’s not the only provocation: Braunshtein also started what he calls a “political movement” as a cute, must-have accessory to the T. His recruitment efforts have gone through his mailing list, Facebook and Myspace.

After reading this intriguing interview I found online today, I was surprised by how little of an effect this type of sad truth has on me at this point in my life. I think this article continues to support my beliefs that black love, and black unity is just about dead. Maybe if Obama wins the presidency it will make a cultural shift in the way many in the African American community see themselves and each other and we can bring back some true pride to our culture. Here are some excerpts for the article.

What woman would lay down and create a baby with one of Hollywood’s biggest sellouts? Paloma Jimenez that’s who! It’s reported that, Vin Diesel and his girlfriend, model Paloma Jimenez, have quietly become parents of a baby girl, his rep tells PEOPLE.
Diesel, 40, and Jimenez welcomed their first child on April 2. Diesel is currently shooting and producing Fast and Furious, due out June 2009, and will next be seen starring in Babylon AD on August 29. Despite his daughter’s fall birth, the ‘Fast and the Furious’ actor and his model wife wait nearly two months to share the news.
When I use the word sellout for Vin Diesel it’s not because like usual he’s another black male who stays as far away from black women as he possibly can, even though it appears that black men have abandoned ship when it comes to black on black love, I personally see nothing wrong with dating interracially (I am also bi-racial). It’s mainly because Vin has always made it clear that since he is bi-racial he doesn’t want to be “stereotyped” with black roles. So this punk made sure in his contract with the studios that he NEVER gets casted in a role as a black man, EVER. I find this insulting and just plain sad.
T-Pain’s Oscar worthy song Buy U A Drank (Shawty Snappin’) from ‘07 has dazzled and amazed us all with it’s well thought out lyrics and rhythmic unique beats. Now there’s a small following of you-tubers who are putting their own special twist on this future classic. These clips are great. There are 4 videos total, the first is the original version from the “artist” himself. Someone even went through the trouble of making a SIMS version which is pretty cool. I find it ironic that even in the SIMS version of this video the girl in the video is light skinned with long hair. I guess art does imitate life. Anyway, I liked the preppy white guy one the best! Tell me what you think.
A couple of weeks ago I was told that Snoop Dog would be making a guest appearance on ABC’s soap opera One Life To Live. Not only was I not surprised, but not one else on the planet seemed to care, I barely heard squat about it. If Snoop Dog was Will Smith or Coolio I wouldn’t mind since they’ve both never represented real hip-hop and catered to the pop mainstream. I think Snoop is rich enough to not have to stoop this low. He is still very famous ( God only knows why ) but I think his “street cred” is all gone, especially after seeing this. Hip hop has officially sold it’s soul. Ice Cube is now Disney’s bottom bitch and Snoop is singing the opening song and guest appearing on One Life To Live. I hope he is investing his money wisely because I think this ride is going to be over soon. Good lord, what is the world coming too? KRS-One we need you!

Everytime I see this clip it takes me back, way back..I think I must have been like 17 when I first saw this. Tupac definitely was no angel, his ass was always in trouble but he was such a brilliant artist, and he kept it very real. As I look back on this clip I can see now how cool, and direct of an interviewer Arsenio Hall was. There are not many mainstream talk show hosts who ask tough questions like he did. At 41 Z-List actress and full-time bombshell Lisa Raye is still hot as hell. The body is looking mighty nice girl. Keep it up. I do think it’s a little tacky to still be doing these types of magazine shoots since you husband is the Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands, I mean you wouldn’t see Michelle Obama doing that. In the end, Lisa still looks fantastic, you can’t deny it.

There is nothing wrong with selling your soul to big companies for a profit, everyone and their grandma has a product their pushing, I understand that now. The problem is, when you still try to pass yourself off as this real dude from the streets, it’s not convincing when your constantly partying with Paris Hilton, throwing temper tantrums if your album doesn’t outsell Kayne’s, or selling out to the highest bidder.
